On October 12, 2023, it was with great pride that I walked across the graduation stage at York University’s fall convocation to receive my second Master’s degree. As an advocate for women, I am passionate about Gender, Feminist & Women’s Studies … and York University’s Graduate Program is one of the best! I am now currently working toward my PhD at York. My research interests include matricentric feminism, birth mothers in the foster care system, and motherhood as an intersectional identity.
