Excited and proud to join the Parents Canada team with my new column — “The Thinking Parent!” This first entry kicks things off with a bang and discusses Matricentric Feminism — a feminism for and about mothers.

Mothers matter. 80% of women become mothers at some point in their lives. Yet the private and public sphere do not provide the recognition, support or resources for the talent, skill and intelligence this job requires.

Special thanks to Parents Canada for the opportunity to share this brilliant brand of feminism devised by York University’s Dr. Andrea O’Reilly! Happy reading! See link below!
